核因子 NF-KB 抑制剂 SN50 是转录因子 NF-KB 的细胞渗透性核易位抑制剂。它由介导该肽的细胞输入的卡波西成纤维细胞生长因子 (K-FGF) 信号序列的疏水区（h 区）和 NF-KB p50 亚基的核定位信号 (NLS) 组成。该肽抑制 LPS 或 TNF-α 刺激的鼠内皮 LE-II 和人单核细胞 THP-1 细胞中 NF-KB 的核转位。在几个细胞系中，SN50 干扰了 NF-KB 介导的促凋亡事件，例如 caspase-3 激活。

Nuclear Factor NF-KB Inhibitor SN50 is a cell-permeable nuclear translocation inhibitor of the transcription factor NF-KB. It consists of the hydrophobic region (h-region) of the Kaposi fibroblast growth factor (K-FGF) signal sequence which mediates the cellular import of this peptide and the nuclear localization signal (NLS) of the NF-KB p50 subunit. The peptide inhibited nuclear translocation of NF-KB in LPS- or TNF-α-stimulated murine endothelial LE-II and human monocytic THP-1 cells. In several cell lines SN50 interfered with NF-KB-mediated pro-apoptotic events such as caspase-3 activation.
